Programme structure
- Maths audit. Rearrangement, indices, standard form, unit prefixes and trigonometry, checked in the first two sessions. Gaps here cost physics marks and are quick to close.
- Definitions and command terms. Learned precisely, because they are marked precisely.
- Topic teaching aligned to the school's sequence so tutoring supports rather than competes with class.
- Uncertainty and graph work, taught systematically rather than encountered piecemeal.
- Past papers under timed conditions from early in the programme.
Practical work and the IA
For IGCSE, the practical paper rewards learned phrasing about variables, control and improvements. For IB, the Internal Assessment is worth 20% and depends on an investigation that produces a real, measurable trend with a defensible uncertainty treatment. We support both — the student runs the experiment and writes the report.
